BEWARE VONAGE CUSTOMERS!!! After an incident with my two year old son, I learned that you cannot call poison control from your Vonage phone. I had to use my cell phone (put the poison control number in your phone today). I finally reached posion control and everything turned out okay, but for those who have Vonage and no cell phone you may want to reconsider your phone service carrier.
Poison control tried to explain it to me but my mind was with my son at the time. I had to do with how Poison Control billed the incoming call. Internet provided phone service can not be traced to a geographic area and thusly cannot be charged to the correct funded account.

Thanks for this important information! I learned that you can't reach 911 from Vonage as well.
